Loose words are fine too. We turn 'always late, always in the front row' into a line.

You do. Play your ode wherever you like, share it with whoever you like, put it on at a wedding and listen to it as often as you want.

We never play your song to anyone else. Only if you give us explicit permission do we add it to the examples.

We are working on it. It is the question we get most often, so it is coming. We would rather not name a date we cannot keep.

We sell nothing on and we put nothing online. What we keep and how to have it deleted is in our privacy statement, at the bottom of every page.

No. Your ode lives on its own page with a unique link that appears nowhere on this site.

Only whoever gets that link from you can hear the song. You decide who that is.

Yes. You can download your ode as an MP3 and keep it wherever you like: on your phone, in the car, or on a USB stick for the venue.

The page with your song also simply stays there, so you can always find it again.

Usually between two and three minutes: long enough for your story, short enough to listen to together without anyone getting uncomfortable.

The day itself is fine. The song is there within the hour. Do take your time over the questions though. The more concrete you are, the more personal it gets.

Put it on when everyone is at the table, and say nothing beforehand. That tends to work well.
